Accessing Virtual Apps Using Citrix
Bay Path offers select software through a virtual environment that allows users to run the applications without installing them on their device and are available via the internet. Note: Software access is granted based on program or departmental needs. Your instructor or supervisor will inform you if you will need to access software using this method. If anything is unclear or confusing in this article, please contact the A&IT Helpdesk via email at techsupport@baypath.edu or via phone at (413)565-1487. 1. Navigate to https://apps.baypath.edu 2. Login when prompted. You will need to use your Bay Path username (Your email without the "@baypath.edu") and password to log in. 3. You will then be shown the virtual applications available to you. Click the icon to launch the software 4. If you are prompted with a Windows Security window, enter your Bay Path account password. You may check the box next to Remember me to not receive this prompt again. 5. The software will now launch and you will be able to use it as if it was installed on your computer through your browser window. 6. To log out, click your name in the upper right corner of the application library and select Log Off

Connecting to your Bay Path PC Remotely
After working with the IT department to setup this access you can access Citrix using the Google Chrome or Firefox browsers Navigate to https://apps.baypath.edu Log in when prompted using your Bay Path username and password 3. On the web page, you will be presented with the applications you have access to. Click on Launch Managed Desktop 4. After launching the application you will see this window 5. From the Machine drop down menu, select the computer you wish to connect to. Some users will have more than one option. 6. You will then be asked to enter your Bay Path credentials again 7. You will now be connected to your Bay Path computer Note: If you are unable to connect to the computer, your device may have been turned off or it went to sleep. Contact the IT Department to resolve the issue.
