Editing Zoom Recordings Using ScreenPal
Beginning with version 2.7.0, Screencast-o-matic (SOM), can now import cloud and local recordings directly from Zoom to be edited using the SOM interface. Install ScreenPal
To confirm that you are running the latest version of Screencast-o-matic, launch the application and click the ? in the top right corner.
Refer to the listed version number. If a new version is available, click Download to install it
Connect your Zoom Account
To access you Zoom recordings within ScreenPal, you will need to connect your Zoom account

Click the Connectbutton and select the boxes to affirm that you want ScreenPal to access your local and/or cloud hosted recordings.
Local Recordings: By default, ScreenPal will look for any recordings in your Documents folder. To change the directory, click and select a new location
Cloud Recordings: ScreenPal will need permission to access your cloud hosted recordings. Click on Select Account to continue with the authorization process
2. Click Select Account and then when prompted, click Launch Web Browser to authorize the Zoom/ScreenPal integration
3. You will be brought to a web page asking you to log into your Zoom account. To access your Bay Path account, click the Sign in with SSO button
4. When prompted, enter "baypath" for the SSO domain
5. You will be directed to log in with your Bay Path email and password
6. You will then be asked to authorize the read only connection to your Zoom account. Click Authorize
7. Your account will now be linked to the ScreenPal client. Click Done
8. Your Zoom recordings will now show up as available videos within the ScreenPals interface. If you do not immediately see them, click the refresh button.
9. You may now click on one of the recordings and it will download and allow you to edit the video using the ScreenPal editor. The videos can then be exported and shared.
