How to connect your gaming or smart device to the BPU Wildcat wireless network
Registering your Device
Using your computer or mobile device, make sure you are connected to the Bay Path University network.
Using a web browser (Mozilla Firefox, Safari, or Microsoft Edge), navigate to the Clearpass Guest Login page: https://nac.baypath.edu/guest/
Log in with your Bay Path Username (not your entire e-mail address) and password.
Select Create Device from the menu on the left

Enter the following information
Device Name (What kind of device are you registering?)
MAC Address (See Finding your Device’s MAC Address below)
Enable AirGroup (Only if you plan to Share this device with other users, otherwise Skip)
If Yes, enter the user(s) Bay Path username and select from the list (Multiple users can be added)
Click Create Device
Your device will now be able to connect to the BPU Wildcat wireless network
Viewing a Registered Device
In the left column, Click Manage Devices
Select the Device, Click Print
You can see all of your registered devices
Editing a Registered Device
In the left column, Click Manage Devices
Select the Device, Click Edit
You can modify the MAC Address, Device Name, Enable/Disable AirGroup for Sharing and Add/Remove Shared Users under AirGroup
Click Update Device to Save Changes
Deleting a Registered Device
In the left column, Click Manage Devices
Select the Device, Click Remove
Select Delete account
Click Make Changes to Save Changes
Finding your Device’s MAC Address
Please refer to the table below for how to find your device’s MAC address. A MAC Address is a set of six 2-digit pairs separated by colons (Ex: 00:0D:0A:1H:3G:5C)

How to Find the MAC Address on Your Device
Amazon Echo
Plug in your device to power it on
In the Alexa app, Open the left navigation panel
Select Settings
Select your device, then Select Update Wi-Fi. If you're adding a new device to your account, Select Set up a new device instead.
On your Echo device, press and hold the Action button until the light ring changes to Orange. Your mobile device will then connect to your Echo device. A list of available Wi-Fi networks will appear in the app.
Select BPU Wildcat
If you don't see Carpe Diem, Scroll down on the app screen until you see the MAC Address
Amazon Fire TV/Stick
From the Main Menu, Select Settings
Select Device or System (depending on software version)
Go to About
Go to Network
Look for the MAC Address (Wi-Fi)
Apple TV
From the Main Menu, Select Settings
Select About
Look for the MAC address next to Wireless ID or Ethernet ID (depending on your connection type)
Alternatively, you may find the MAC address printed on the UPC label on the Apple TV box
Google ChromeCast
Plug the device into your TV
In the Chromecast app, Click Settings
Find the MAC Address at the bottom of the window
Google Home
Plug in the device to power it on
From the Google Home app, Select Devices
Select Settings
Scroll down to display the MAC Address
Nintendo 2DS/3DS/XL
From the Home Menu, Select the System Settings icon
Tap Internet Settings
Tap Other Information
Tap Confirm MAC Address
The MAC Address will be displayed
Nintendo Wii
Note * Online services have been discontinued but Netflix etc should still work
Start your Wii without a disc
Click the Wii button at the bottom of the start screen
Click Wii Settings
Right Arrow over to the Next Page of Settings
Click Internet
Select Console Information
The MAC Address will be displayed
Nintendo Wii U
From the Home Menu, Select System Settings
Select the Internet settings button
Select the View MAC Address
The MAC Address will be displayed
Nintendo Switch
From the Home Menu, Select System Settings
Select Internet, Select Internet Settings
The MAC Address will be listed under System MAC Address
Roku
You can find the MAC Address on the bottom or back of your Roku
Alternatively, From the Home Screen, Select Settings
Select About
The MAC Address will display on your screen
Smart TV
There are so many different types of Smart TV's so it is difficult to list specific instructions. Please try the following:
In the TV Menu Settings, look for Network Settings
You may see the MAC Address for Wifi connection or you might need to select Wifi or Wireless
The MAC or Wifi Address should be displayed
Sony Playstation 4
Start your PS4 with no disc inserted
From the Main Menu, Select Settings
Select Network
Select View Connection Status
The MAC Address (Wi-Fi) will be displayed
Sony Playstation 5
Start up your PlayStation 5 without a disk in the drive.
From the Main Menu, Select Settings
Select System.
Under System Software, select Console Information.
You will see the MAC addresses for LAN cable (Ethernet) and Wi-Fi. You will want to use the Wi-Fi MAC Address.
Xbox One
From My Xbox, Select Settings
Select Network
Select Advanced Settings
The Wireless MAC Address will be displayed on the right side of the screen
