These instructions will walk you through how to connect a Microsoft Windows 7 computer to the Bay Path wireless network.

Bay Path Computers:

    1. In the bottom right corner of the task bar, click the network icon (wired or wireless).    or    or  
    2. Under Wireless Network Connection, select Bay Path and click Connect.

    You should now be connected to the Bay Path wireless network.  If you are unable to connect, please contact the ITS Helpdesk for assistance at (413) 565-1487 or submit a ticket to techsupport@baypath.edu.


    Non-Bay Path Computers:

      1. In the bottom right corner of the task bar, click the network icon (wired or wireless).    or    or  
      2. At the bottom, click Open Network and Sharing Center

                  

      3. On the left side of the Network and Sharing Center window, click Manage wireless networks

                  

      4. Click Add
      5. Click Manually create a network profile 

                  

      6. Enter the following information into the appropriate fields and click Next.
        1. Type Network name:  Bay Path
        2. Select Security type:  WPA2-Enterprise
        3. Confirm Start this connection automatically is checked. 

      7. Click Change connection settings 

                  

      8. Confirm Connect automatically when this network is in range is checked. 

                  

      9. Click the Security tab, click Settings

                  

      10. Uncheck Validate server certificate, click Configure

                  

      11. Uncheck Automatically use my Windows logon name and password (and domain if any), click OK

                  

      12. Click OK.  At the bottom left of the Settings tab, click Advanced settings.
      13. Check Specify authentication mode, select User authentication, click Save credentials

                  

      14. When prompted, enter your Bay Path e-mail address and password.  Click OK

                  

      15. Click OK two more times.  Click Close and close the Wireless Network Manager window.

      You should now be connected to the Bay Path wireless network.  (*Special Note: It could take up to a minute for your connection to complete successfully)  If you are unable to connect, please contact the ITS Helpdesk for assistance at (413) 565-1487 or submit a ticket to techsupport@baypath.edu.
